✍️ Logistics

Eligibility to play

• Fall ultimate is an official SPS sport and a co-ed/mixed sport for Madison Middle School students. Per SPS/DiscNW rules, the fall league is open only to players attending Seattle Public Schools; as long as a student attends Madison, they are eligible to play.
• The baseline requirement is to be willing to learn, work hard, do one’s best, and have fun. The rules of the game and skills will be covered at practice and in supporting emailing/videos. That said, depending on who signs up, we may have to adjust our roster (see If I sign up, will I be guaranteed a spot on the team? )

Cuts

We will likely need to make team cuts this fall. See If I sign up, will I be guaranteed a spot on the team?.

Attendance planning/tracking

This should be done in the Player Portal. You only need to email if there was a change of plans on game-day (e.g., player is sick). For practices and everything else, please use the portal.

Team Calendar

To help surface team practices and games, we maintain a team calendar (where we’ll copy games from DiscNW’s schedule page). We did this so you don’t need to manually type in information to your digital calendar, but it is optional to consume.
